Dear Uche…

Dear Uche, you trended a few days ago on X and I was angry that it didn’t happen while you were alive but I had a rethink and realized that you touched a lot of people positively and they had to express their hurt. If you read what people were saying, your head will burst. In the midst of my crying, I was smiling with a sense of pride because I knew you personally and to be associated with you is to be associated with greatness. A lot of people changed their display picture to the color blue and it was so beautiful to see.

Dear Uche our beloved friend, you may have left us far too soon, but your loving presence will endure in our hearts and souls. We will carry your legacy and won’t let it die, all that you wanted to achieve, we’d try our possible best to make sure it is fruitful and just like Palitha Ariyarathna said “Goodbyes are not forever; goodbyes are not the end; they simply mean I’ll miss you until we meet again.”
